These are great for getting the washer or dryer up to the right height and providing some storage for laundry stuff, but they complicate installation and reduce stability, especially when sitting on a wood floor and not concrete. Any washer vibrates during the spin cycle and this is aggravated by putting it on top of a pedestal. Read more

Holds large detergent & bleach bottles upright with no problem. Paper towel rolls, spray bottles, this drawer will eat just about anything. The sides/bottom are molded from one piece of plastic so if something leaks it won't spill. The box it's shipped in isn't "UPS proof." Our pedestal had a fairly large dent on one side that didn't affect function or appearance in our application and two dents on the bottom. I fixed 'em rather than deal with and wait on exchanges. You're gonna need help to set a washer or dryer on top of one of these. Some might even need help just moving the pedestal around, it's about 50 lbs. Read more

Nice accessory for LG Washers/Dryers - these drawers offer additional storage, simple leveling of the appliances and (best of all) they raise the doors for the washer and dryer to a better height, eliminating the need for bending over to load/unload laundry. The only comment I would make is that it would have been nice if the product designers at LG had thought these through a bit more and made them big enough to house the plastic "shelf" from inside the steam dryer unit (only used when you're steaming laundry, which is not typical for most loads). If you've got other storage space in your laundry room, it's not hard to stash somewhere...but being able to put it right below the dryer would have been nice. Read more

This product is wonderful for not having to bend over to the ground all the time. After many loads I don't know what we did before we got it. Well worth the money (we were skeptical about that but would now completely recommend it to anyone!). Installation is difficult, you have to straight lift the 200 pound washer onto it (the dryer is a little easier). We invited several fireman friends over to help, and that worked. Getting it to balance just right is still a work in progress.... Still, we love it! Read more

I wasn't to sure about spending so much money just to raise the machines higher, but it was well worth it!! Abt had the best price available, with free shipping. [...] were easy to install. You'll need help to lift the washer and dryer onto them. Now that I have them, I can't imagine having not purchased them. The machines are now at just the right height.
