unlike gin from conn i think this treadmill is wonderful it sounds like gin got a treadmill that had a manufacture defect, i work in retail with these things and sometimes it happens its nobodies fault, the world isnt perfect so chill out, return it, get a brand new one, itll be fine, stuff happens. i love the treadmill would recommend it to all types of joggers walkers runners marathon trainers its great. the machine is quiet and thats one of the things i love about it. just typing about makes me want to go run on it you know i think i will bye bye. After some serious product comparisons, I purchased the 675E on sale two weeks ago and am very pleased. It's a great machine...sturdy; awesome preset aerobic & performance workouts; good speaker quality; quick buttons for speed & incline; wide belt; quiet motor. I took reviewer advice and paid for assembly...very glad I did. They did a great job and tested everything. I use the machine 5X a week for walking & running and feel very secure using it. Read more

Wife and I (both old enough for Medicare) use this treadmill for frequent jogging/walking. It's very quiet; operates effortlessly. We like the IPOD/speaker connection to which we connect a radio. It's very easy to change speeds during operation; overall treadmill is very easy to operate. Screen is easy to read. After 3 months, we have had no problems. You should not try to assemble this yourself. It is also too big to store. Would definitely buy again. Read more

I am a 6'2", 285 lb, engineer, so I will really stress this product and I weeded out several due to being wimpy or having to go to a very high price. For negatives, if I am doing one of the 10 pre-programs, OCCASIONALLY when you change the level (intensity) it jumps to 10.0 on speed. Watch out!! Plastic is starting to creak. Pulse monitors rarely work, but I rarely use them anyway. On/Off switch should be more convenient because it is recommended to shut it completely off, not just remove 'key', after use. I do not shut mine completely down. Mine faces the wall and the switch is on that end. It is a heavy unit and two people to assemble is recommended as per instructions. You don't just wheel this around the house, but you can. Now for the good side, this unit is solid, quiet, and has a strong motor. Good selection of pre-programmed workouts. Love the speaker option that I took over a fan option. I think this is an excellent buy for the price. Read more

My old Proform 325 Crosswalk finally gave in after 6 years of hard use. Decided to upgrade to this model. Just bought this today. No problems in assembling it. Took about an hour, needed to angle it on it's side since it was too wide to fit through the door when assembled. First use for 80 minutes - no problems. MP3 Speakers are awesome. The wife heard my playlist from inside the house. The only draw back was if you trip the reset button, machine defaults to demo mode and KPH versus MPH on first use. Plus the user manual does not mention the different default programs, have to use "trial and error" approach. Thus the mark down from 5 to 4. The motor and belt is extremely quit. Definitely recommend this model or at least the manufacturer. Read more
