This is a very good iron, but I use the steam button a lot. This iron has a steam button that is positioned on the right top of the iron. It makes ironing very akwards, because all of the irons that I have used in the past has the steam button positioned to the left. I'm right-handed, just in case this is a key point of information. Maybe it would be a better product for a left-handed person. The iron would be the perfect product for me if the steam button would have been positioned where the water spray button is. Read more

I recently purchased a Euro-Pro Gentle Glide Iron; I am exceptionally pleased with how well this iron performs. I have been purchasing irons for years and have never been more pleased with the performance of an iron. It is light weight to handle, It steams very deep; similar to a dry cleaner steaming. I use it to steam things I would normally have to take to the cleaners. I love the automatic shut off feature. As long as this iron is available, it will always be my preference. I purchased this iron as a replacement of my 5 year old black and Decker brand. For me it's quite heavy but it's OK for short period of ironing (6 to 8 items). Easy use. One thing I loved, It doesn't overheat, i left it on for 3 minutes on my iron board but it didn't stick to it. Auto shut off. Very good on jeans but not so good with some non cotton fabrics (spandex and rayon). Over all still ok with the price. Read more

I recently purchased this iron as a replacement for my older one. Mainly it was the price that led me to purchasing it. Can't go wrong with it - heats up very quickly (only a few mins for cotton setting). The burst of steam feature is great for getting deeper wrinkles out quickly.
