But it is missing one key thing. There is no display of the number of messages you have in the answering machine. And unless there is at least one message that no one in your family has listened to yet, there isn't even an indication that there are ANY messages! All you get is a blinking blue light if there are messages that no one has listened to yet. Major oversight! Virtually all answering machines I've seen have a prominent display of the number of messages waiting.
