I did a lot of researching before deciding on this seat and I am so glad I picked this one. Obviously everything is going to have some complaints, but I figured I'd give it a try and if I didn't like it just take it back. It is so easy to set up and install, much easier than the carrier car seat base. With the latching system it is so quick and you don't have to dig around in between the seat to try and find the anchor. I love how easy it is to adjust the straps, no more re threading! It only took me maybe 3 minutes to get it set up in my car. I have a 2007 Honda Accord and it fits very nicely behind my passenger seat. The seat can be slid all the way back with no interference with the car seat. I didn't put it in the middle because I still have to ride in the back with my son sometimes and there wouldn't have been room for me if it was in the middle. We looked for two days at car seats. When our daughter turned one we bought her a booster seat that didn't recline, we were trying to save money. See, we do a lot of traveling and every time the poor thing falls asleep she wakes up crying because her neck hurts her. We tried everything to prop up her little head and nothing seemed to work. So, when we were shopping for a new car seat for our seven month old, who has out grown his rear facing carseat already, we decided to spend the money and buy a comfortable and RECLING car seats for both of them. After looking and testing about 15 different carseats we chose this one and I'm happy we did. The kids love it! Mom and dad loves it too! It's very easy to install thanks to the new SURELATCH and reclines with ease! I was determined to buy a britax after reading all the reviews but when I went to the store this seat looked and felt so much more comfortable. So we decided to try it. My son loves this seat and he will be able to use it until he's 100 lbs which is great because he's only 6mths and already 30inches. The only problem I'm having is that it's hard to pull his harness where it's snug..i have to really tug on it for it to move..maybe I'm doing something wrong. Other than that it's a great carseat and it's about [$] cheaper than the britax marathon which they only had in pink!!! otherwise I probably would have bought it for my son. Anyway so far he loves the seat and it's really easy to install (after you figure out that the latch has to be moved to the front for rear facing or else it won't work) Read more

We bought this seat after looking at many and trying a few in our car and trying our infant son in them. We wanted one with side impact protection. We tried the Britax seats with SIPS but it was obvious that he would quickly outgrow them and the Britax seats did not have the seat width and depth for older kids like this one does. This seat has been very easy to use and he seems to be very comfy in it. I like the one handed headrest height adjustment and that the shoulder height is very easy to adjust without re-threading. The straps tighten up easily even in the rear facing position. A lot of seats when properly installed rear facing will not allow access to the tightening/adjustment strap below the crotch. For previous reviews that said the LATCH straps were too short, the seat comes with them ready to use forward facing. If you're like me you read all the reviews before purchasing. I did just that with this purchase and I must say based on reviews I was really excited to check this product out. I made the purchase today and so far I love it. I was in need of a new car seat that would fit my infant but I also wanted this new purchase to work fot a long time. I thinkI found it with this product seeing it goes all the way up 100lbs. The most time consuming part was transferring the SureLatch connectors from the forward facing position to the rear facing position for my infant. I was concerned how it would fit in my car but I found it fit just fine. I drive a Volvo V50 hatchback and this seat fit just fine back there. My husband might not be able to recline the seat back to where he likes to drive but for me it is fine. The SureLatch was a sinch to install and I like the fact that the shoudler and crough strap don't require a complete removal of the seat and disassembly to adjust. You can adjust bot … Read more
