Sweet Mess Kit!

For a military mess kit, this is one of the best. Kit arrived in new condition. It has a very thoughtful design and is robust. Fits perfectly, of course, with the rest of the Swedish kit which includes alcohol stove, fuel bottle and wind screen. Yes the package is bulky for volume-driven minimalists but it is lightweight and that volume can be used efficiently if packed right. For cooking gear on a budget this can't be beat. Read more

Very good messkit for it's size. Not for the ultra-light crowd, but you need to remember it was made for the military which is driven by durability, all in all a good kit which will last a lifetime. I spent 20 plus years in the Marine Corps and it beats what we had to dine with. Read more

I think these Swedish mess kits are great. These are as pictured - unpainted and apparently unused, although there are some surface scratches here and there. My only hesitation with the offer is I think these are aluminum instead of stainless. Otherwise, they're fantastic, and a great value. Read more

I bought six of these to go with the Tranglia stove sets I bought. All brand new and good shape. I now have 6 full sets for the price of one fancy stove. Read more

These are advertised as stainless steel. I ordered 10 and got 1 lid that was stainless. The rest were all alluminun as well as the bottoms. Bait and switch Read more
