i got this DS 3 years ago for christmas and i still have it and i love it!!!!!! my little sister and i always play it when we go somewhere long in the car we love it!!!!!! we have the Nerf case for it, if we drop it it is protected by the Nerf case!! i would recommend the Nerf case for it so it won't brake if you drop it. i droped it one time and something broke off so we had to super glue it..... but other than that it is great!!!!!!!!! The game is great, from its Great games like Pokemon to brain age, the Nintendo DS is a great handheld, it can play GBA Games also. The Nintendo DS Will never get old, with its dual flopped screen, its great when your on a road trip, or when you get bored. I bought myself one for Christmas as well as my 5 year old son. He is pretty good at gaming on the ps2 so I bought him this to occupy him on road trips. He loves it! It's great for his age as well as mine (27). I plan on buying the cooking software next. We'll see how that goes. Read more

This is an awesome buy. The only bad thing about the black Nintendo DS is that it gets a lot of fingerprints. I constantly have to wipe them off. But if you're not a neat-freak, no worries. But I personally would recommend the new red DS. The DS does not take time loading. You can play your old Gameboy games that you thought you had no use for. You can also use Pictochat that chat and doodle with people in the same room as you. It has space for headphones, DS game slot, Gameboy game slot, charger ad it also has a microphone installed in it. Although the graphics aren't the best, they're good enough. When you're playing you don't really pay attention to that anyways. I've had my DS for more than a year and it's been perfectly fine. It still works. The only time I ever had a problem was with the game: Drawn to Life. It messed up my speakers temporarily. I just plugged in the charger and I didn't play it for 2 days and it was fine. And don't buy those screen covers. They DON'T work!! They … Read more
