I bought this unit to place under my workspace in my office. Although I've only had the refrigerator a few days, I am pleased with the purchase. It is quiet, and roomy enough to place multiple drinks, lunches and even a 2 liter bottle for chilling. What compelled me to purchase the unit was the very low price, and it appears to be functional for this type of application. One plus is that it has a reversible door for eiter left or right handed access. Read more

It will hold several small bottles of beverages pretty well and is a nice compact size when space is an issue.Freezer part can take a long while to form ice, not good if you need it in a hurry and the fridge part will keep food cold though not ice cold. Read more

I liked this little refrigerator because it's a great size. It fits anywhere. One problem though, that you won't notice until you have a power outage, is that every time the power goes out, the refrigerator turns off. When the power comes back on--THE REFRIGERATOR DOESN'T. The first time this happened I got out the manual and discovered that every time the power goes off, you have to manually turn off the refrigerator, wait 5 or 10 minutes, and turn it back on again in order to reset the "breaker." This is a big problem since I bought the refrigerator for a vacation home. I'm not there to know that the power has gone off (which it seems to do every time the wind blows) and so, everytime I come back to the house, the refrigerator has turned itself off again and everything in it is spoiled. This refrigerator is being used in an office, but this week I experienced a problem with the freezer section. I placed a piece of frozen ice cream cake inside the freezer section and within 2 hours it was completely melted. The refrigerator was set on the highest setting (number 7) for the coldest temperature. I was very disappointed when I went to hand over a piece of melted ice cream cake to my coworker. He was away from the office attending a meeting, and couldn't participate when the ice cream cake was being served. I was disappointed that I couldn't count on my Magic Chef refigerator to keep something frozen. Other than the freezer problem, I enjoy having a small refrigerator handy at the office. Read more

I purchased this unit to go under the desk in my cube at work. Within 2 hours of first plugging the unit in, the fridge was nice and cold. It keeps my lunches and drinks nice and cold throughout the day, and as a result I have been able to save money by bringing lunch into work. The price was perfect, and the unit is small enough that I still have plenty of room under my desk for my legs. I barely notice this fridge as it is whisper quiet while cooling. I would definetely recommend this unit to anybody who has limited space and needs a convenient place to store sandwiches, drinks, etc. Read more
