My husband and I had begun a remodel on our RV...the refrigerator did not work so we picked this one up. The space is just perfect for a RV, camper, small apartment or even a dorm room. It comfortably held food to feed 4 adults and 2 small children for 3 days ( and then some!! ). The freezer space leaves a little to be desired but overall it is a great buy!! Read more

THIS IS NOT HOME DEPOT'S FAULT BUT I THINK HOME DEPOT NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THE PRODUCTS THEY CARRY. WE WERE GIVEN ONE OF THESE FRIDGES IN LATE 2006 BY OUR CHILDREN. IT CAME WITH A ONE YEAR UNLIMITED WARRANTY WITH A 5 YEAR WARRANTY ON PARTS ONLY. IN LESS THAN 2 YEARS OF USE THE COMPRESSOR WENT OUT SO WE CONTACTED MAGIC CHEF ONLY TO FIND OUT THEY WOULD REPLACE THE COMPRESSOR FREE OF CHARGE BUT WE INDEED HAD TO PAY THE LABOR AT ONLY CERTAIN CERTIFIED COMPANIES. UPON CALLING THE NEAREST COMPANY WE WERE TOLD THAT THE LABOR WOULD BE MORE THAN THE FRIDGE AND IT WOULD BE IN OUR BEST INTEREST TO JUST BUY A NEW ONE. MAGIC CHEF AGREED AND SAID THEY WERE SORRY BUT THAT'S ALL THEY COULD DO I ASK ANY ONE WHO READS THIS. WHAT GOOD IS THAT FIVE YEAR WARRANTY?DO YOU WANT TO BUY ANYTHING WITH SUCH A WARRANTY? Read more

merbenz from I live in Salem nh a mile or so from home depot in

the compressor gave out in 1year and 4 mo just after the refrigator 1 year warantee ran out . The warantee book i got on the rifrigator said i had 5 years warantee on the Compressor . i contacted magic cheif and was told they dont ship the compressor to me it has to go to a dealer that charges over 300 dollars to install ( 781-944-4270 ) the dealer said its a junk and to toos it away in the junk pile . it cost more to install the compressor then what its worth .so i got stuck with a warantte that i cant use ? the company ( 888-775-0202 ) told me tough luck . I have had my refridgerator, Magic Chef Model MCBR360S, only two years and it has quit working. Will not cool and just makes a clicking noise when plugged in. I have tried to gain online information for parts or a service manual to no avail. I have been told by appliance technicians to just throw it away and buy a new one. Be very careful with this purchase and do not expect any product life time or assistance with Magic Chef appliances. I own a second, larger model bought within a year and hope I get a longer lifetime from this model. Read more

this item should never be sold why the compressor is lwarantee for 5 years but they dont honor it why ,they wont ship the part to you for exchange only too a parts repair store at your cost that exceeds the over all cost of the refrigator so look out . mine lasted 1 and a half , and thats just when you pay i have to tell you that home depot did refund my money its not there fault thank you and good luck Read more
