We bought this wine cooler 8 months ago and already there is an issue with the compressor. The unit has nice features, but to have problems within the first year is not a good thing. To make matters worse, Magic Chef customer service is awful. After three calls to get the unit repaired, now they tell me they can't find a repair center to have the unit serviced and will get back to me when they do. They unit has not been functioning properly for well over a month and I have no return call from customer service since they have been "trying to find a repair center". I am returning this unit and will not buy Magic Chef again, mainly because of the lack of support from Magic Chef on the product. Read more

I've got this wine cooler as a present a year ago. After 11 months the upper zone failed and did not work any more. Since it was a present and I did not have a recipt and the manufacturer did not honor the warranty. Home Depot also refused to make any attempts to facilitate a recipt since the person who originally bought it was out of town. Now I will have to pay for the repair of a device that is suposed to still be under warranty. However, it is an expensive device for it to fail after less than a year, but if you decide to buy it, or give it as a presesnt, KEEP THE RECEIPT, if you are lucky, it will fail before the one year warranty expires. Or buy the extended warranty (how convenient for Home Depot) Read more
