Bought this product as it provide better physical characteristics than box-store models at a worthwhile price. Been using this product for weekend club rides and 'part-time' commutes to work. The frame has screw threads on the fork and seat stay to support installation of racks, if desired. You may find the stock grips (Specialized Body Geometry Comfort grips) twisting on you, and you may perhaps consider bar-ends for more grip space, as the shifters occupy most of the handlebar space, otherwise. I love this bike

I have to get another one from Back Bay

Someone stole this bike from me. That person obviously does not realize I am going to beat the crap out of them. This was the best bike I've ever ridden. Granted I would not recommend it for racing, but given the fact that I used it every single day for a year to commute to work- even in those two snow storms- this bike will plow through whatever with the right skill. The only thing I ever had to replace was [$] brake housing. I live in back bay and relied on this bike for everything, carrying groceries, supplies, whatever, going ten miles out of the way somewhere on it. I love this bike, I'm so mad some jerk stole it from me. Read more
