We had settled on [...] a reputable maker. We set it up and installed everything. The warranty information stated that it could hold up to 240lbs on it's top shelf. Our system weighs atmost 170lbs with everything in it (we placed nothing else on the TV stand for the weeks we had it). Two weeks pasted and it started to slump in the middle. Three weeks later and it looked like pancaked roadkill. There was a 2" sag from the top in the middle. We returned it. We've had the SU32FS2 stand for alteast two weeks now, and have loaded it down with DVD players, DVDs, DVRecorder, game cube, and it hasnt sagged. It's a beautiful addition to our living room. The design of this stand is ... perfect. All the little nooks and spaces are measured exactly to fit most common appliances, DVDs, or just about anything else that might be useful.
