It is compact and fits nicely which means I drink more water and less soda at work. But, I expected a quiet unit, and it runs a fan all the time which is pretty loud and annoying and the water is only cool, never cold. But the hot water is very fast and hot. I'm very pleased with it. I'm particularly pleased that the "on and off" buttons for cooling and heating the water are separate. I like hot water and room tempurature water (not cold water), and am able to turn on just the heating function, and can leave the cooling function turned off.
