Great product for oily skin

I bought this product in Clay 4. I have the Second to None cream to powder in clay 1 (if that is any indication of my skin coloring and wear NC 45 in MAC). I absolutely love this foundation. It gives me a bronzey look without looking artificial. I use this wet as my foundation and I set with a light dusting of the Luminous foundation and the semi-loose mineral powder. It is beautiful! I never thought a make-up would ever look so beautiful on the skin but it does. I am a make-up girl and I have tried a lot of different foundations and this one is a keeper. The only women that should not use this are those with full blown acne. Oily skin is ok because it gives a nice shimmer without looking greasy. Acne under this foundation would not be attractive IMO. I am Jamaican with dark skin and have to worry about makeup that can be worn and lasts through heat & humid weather. This foundation is perfect! I heard about the brand through a friend, did some research on their website and fell in love with the Luminous foundation.The colour match is soooooo easy and effective-I wore beautiful bronze in Black Opal & NW43 in MAC and it matched me FLAWLESSLY. Also the semi-loose powder- genius! I wish I knew about this on my wedding day b/c I spent tons on MAC makeup and now the shade doesnt even match me as efficiently as this. Read more

This product makes my skin look luminous and radiant; I have applied it "dry" with the sponge for heavier coverage however use it most frequently with a damp makeup brush (dipped in a little water) for light coverage. I have "over 50" skin; this makeup doesn't settle into the "fine lines" or look "heavy". I continue to receive compliments on how beautiful my "complexion" is...my secret is definately in the makeup. Still a fan from IL

I don't know if they changed the ingredients in this product or if my skin has changed but,now the shade does not fit my skin tone anymore and after an hour my skin is very greasy. I used to love this product because it gave me the perfect match and matte look every time but, now something has changed. I returned it and will try another one of Iman's products just in case it is my skin and not the foundation. Read more
