This thing is amazing. I've had it for a month and a half and I can already go up and down curbs manual and also nose manual. I would say to buy a rip stick before a skate board anytime(cheaper too).
On a scale of one to ten it would be a 13 it is phenomenal! Read more

You dont have to push, you just move your back foot back and forth and you go forward. Its beter than the waveboard because there is a handle to carry it. And the ends are turned up so that you can do tricks easier. I ride it all day long Read more

This is one of the best things I've ever bought. I also have a skateboard and in my opinion, the ripstik is better. I learned how to ride it perfectly in 2 or 3 days. Some of my friends learned fast and some took a long time. I think if you have experience snowboarding or have good balance, it is easier to learn. My friend tried my ripstik and he was hooked. We went outside almost every single day to ride and he also got one. It is much funner with friends. The ripstik could turn very well and move very fast. The only bad thing about it is that the wheels wear out fast. You gotta get it! Read more

A few of my friends already owned a ripstik, so i thought it would be fun to have one of my own to ride on. While my pals made balancing on the board look effortless, I am still struggling to stay upright! My little sister has to stand in front of me on the pavement & hold my hands to steady it before even attempting to roll down our driveway. Yesterday, she fell off the board backwards and we are very lucky she was wearing a helmet. Although you may look cooler w/out one, I don't think I'll be setting foot on mine without the appropriate gear. The how-to DVD they included was minimally helpful, but misleading. You have to figure out from watching, not being told, how to do the cool tricks. Overall, this is a really fun product that I would recommend to a slightly more mature age level. While it can be fun for all, younger children would be more likely to topple off the board or get frustrated and upset with it. I have fun meeting the challenges this ripstik provides, and look forward t

its very flexible but if you cannot ride a skatboard AND a scooter AND a bike AND surfboard THIS WILL BE DIFFULT! it took me only 1 day to learn but that is because i tried for hours. once you learn it is REALLY fun, it looks cool too, its a little on the bulky side but if it wasnt you couldnt stand correctly on it. Read more
