We have had this oven for almost two weeks now, and I have been working my way through its paces with no complaints!

Cook Top:

The burners do a very good job of coming up to and retaining the proper heat levels with good steady heat control. The tri-burner is a really great feature, allowing you to switch from small sauce pans to the 12" fry pan with a twist of a switch. Nice.

Have not tried the double burner setting (yet), but have no doubt that it will work just as well.

One little item: I would have liked one of those "powerboil" burners for a big pasta pot, but I'll take good burner control over that feature!

Oven:

Huge and spacious. Love the way that the convection automatically adjusts for temperature. Have not roasted a large beast in it yet (made some brownies, though), and it does a nice job of irising to and keeping the heat consistently so far.

Lower Oven:

LOVE this! At first, you think it is useless... until you have a plate of meat or soemthing that needs to stay w

My hat goes off to G.E. for making this grand double oven. It let's me bake twice as many things, twice as fast. When the Kids and grandkids call and say we're on our way to visit and say they're hungry. This busy Grandma frets non, as she pops in one of those favorite Minnesotin hot dishes in the top oven and some of Grandma's yummy sugar cookies in the bottom. Both turn out Grand as the oven timers help this absent minded Grandma remember to take things out on time. No burnt cookies at Grandma's house!! The oven's (even when both on) heat in so uniform that even those bundt cakes that never turned out before (in the 1958 oven I used to have) come out level every time and cooked to perfection. Can't imagine how fantastic this would be for Mom's these days, with their hectic schedules. Twice the baking done in less than half the time. Thanks G.E. you made this one simply......Grandiosis!!!!! I tell everyone about it! Read more

Wow! I used my new range for the first time on Thanksgiving Day! I was a nervous wreck because I have never owned a convection oven. This stove accomodated a 23 lb. turkey. The oven comes with a probe that tracks the temperature of the meat on the control panel. It was perfect! However, it does cook much faster than a normal bake mode. (It does have a regular bake mode as well) The lower oven cooked 2 casseroles while the turkey was in the main oven. What a blessing! The temperature of the lower oven goes to 450 degrees. The stove top has 4 burners and a warming burner. There is a "bridge" feature that heats up the two left burners plus the area in between. Great for pancakes! The adjustable front burner can be modified for 6 inche, 9 inches or 12 inches. Great for a huge soup pot or stir fry. I am thrilled with this range; can't say enough about it. It has all the bells and whistles to prepare a simple feast or a grand dinner. I'm excited about cooking again!! Read more

I love my new range! The warming zone and lower oven were the reasons I purchased this range, and they are wonderful. They make cooking so fast and easy; I can fix foods at different temperatures and have them ready at the same time. I am still getting used to using convection but feel I have so many choices with this stove. The proof cycle for bread is a dream, I love making bread now. I highly recommend this range to anyone that cooks. Read more

If I had it to do over again I would not buy this range. The difficulty of cleaning the top each time it is used overwhelms any positives it may have. I actually dread cooking as I know each use is going to involve trying to get off the brown deposits that accumulate on the burner areas. GE should be ashamed. Read more
