We bought this dryer about 1 month ago. So far so good. There are 2 issues we have with this dryer: 1) related to contracter who has installed the dryer and washer. 2) the door design of this set of dryer and washer. The contracter hired by Homedepot to install our dryer and washer is bad. He knew there would be a problem to connect ventilation pipe to the hole on the wall and did a poor job by taping them together. With the first drying session, the ventilation pipe fell off immediately. Fortunately, my friend who is handy man figured out how to connect it correctly. Note that it is not easy. No wonder the contracter cannot did it right because he wanted to leave ASAP. So, whoever has his/her machine installed should insist that drying be tested. No clumsy taping job should be accepted. Ok where do i said, lets just say awesome!!!!! Well balanced machine... Very Quite... We couldnt of found a better dryer.... The clothes take half the time as our old dryer.... It even tells you on the front panel how wet they are( That is a great feature!!!) We bought the matching washer and dryer and they are excellent.. Recommend to everyone!!!! A++++++++ Read more

My dryer is lovely. No complaints. Quiet. Balanced. My Maytag super capacity washer on the other hand is vibrating so bad that Im scared to use it. When delivered "with a rebate check that has yet to come" the delivery man did NOT even start the washer.Nor did he have a level. When attempting to correct this situation with my local 13673 Home Depot, I was told that it wasnt there problem and was given a phone number. To which was the warranty office with maytag where the "nice' lady said that even though I paid 200.00 extra for the warranty that because it a was an "installation" issue i would be charged!....So, finally home Depot sent someone from NTL to solve the problem, and the problem is my floor?! This gentleman did not have a level as well. I told him thank you and he left. So I am now pondering on returning my lovely washer..and spend my 1000.00 on something else. Does a good job of sensing the dampness of the load and adjusts time accordingly. It has a Wrinkle Prevent setting that will tumble clothes to minimize wrinkles if you do not remove clothing as soon as the end of cycle bell chimes. There is also a Touchup feature to help remove wrinkles from clean , dry clothing. As a companion to the matching washer they make wash day effortless.
