When I purchased my townhouse, it came with the original dishwasher. It was loud and it never cleaned right. I would describe it as someone spitting on the dishes. After looking into energy efficient dishwasher, this model received the best reviews and the price was actually reasonable and affordable. I've had it for 2 months and I have zero complaints. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase. It's much quieter than the 20 year old dishwasher we originally had. It can still be heard of course, but mostly just the filling and draining of the water. I am having a hard time learning where to put my glasses, as they are square instead of round. They tend to tip over if I try to put them on the sides of the top rack, so I put them in the middle. My plates are large and square and they fit just fine, I noticed other reviewers had issues with other brands. I like the fact that the utensil holder can be placed on the door and easily moved to a new location. My dishes have came out clean and dry, except on some odd shaped bowls where the water puddles on top, but they are still mostly dry. I've been using this dishwasher for two months now, and haven't had any problems with it. The china setting is nice, though I have not used it yet, it will be handy for Thanksgiving dinner! I bought this dishwasher (GU2275XTV0) on the recommendation of my home warranty service and Loews. I have had it for a few months. Sorry I ever saw it never mind that I bought it. It is the worst that I have owned or used. It does not clean the dishes. If the food cannot be rinsed off under the faucet without scrubbing the dishwasher will not clean them. It may hold a lot of flat plates but it has very poor design for handling bowls. The cutlery basket keeps falling of the door and does not hold much. The cutlery is left with soap and food on them. Fortunately I kept my old Kenmore cutlery basket. I placed on the lower rack where the dishes should go. This dishwasher takes for ever to complete a wash even in normal mode. If you use the adaptive or pots and pan mode you better do it overnight. I have no idea what the pot and pan setting does except run for an extra half hour. Fortunately I do not use the dishwasher for my pans; it would not clean them anyway. It does not have a pause … Read more

Used to own a Bosch, but wasn't working and was going to be too expensive to fix. Purchased the Whirlpool after looking into Consumer Reports. Ranked pretty high, so we decided for the price it was a great option. The Bosch definitely was higher quality when it came to the racks, inside walls, front appearance. However, the Whirlpool cleans just as well, easier to load, and honestly performs equal or better in my opinion. I thought I would NOT like the silverware in the door, and sometimes it is a pain when the bottom rack gets caught on something...But, I LOVE the extra room it gives me on the lower rack. Also, before I put a rinse agent in...it dried terribly. I was unhappy with it, but then put the Jet Dry in it and it dried great! Even better than the Bosch, to my surprise.
