This is one of the best purchases I've made in awhile..So far it works great... Wish I would have bought it ten years ago. Very handy because you can move it very easily for garage clean up.We use the top part as a extra refrigerator... Works out great when milk and other things are on sale... We can stock up on pop and keep it cold. Lot's of room in top and bottom... We got it so we could buy extras and stay stocked up. We have a side by side in the house and never had enough room after a trip to [...] or [...].. You can hear the freezer run....It's not real loud, but I think that part will come in handy is case I trip a breaker and don't realize it... It's on a line with out side lights and might not notice right away... I can't hear it run in the house only if I'm in the garage. It looks very cool in garage.. This has to be the best Garage freezer ever made. I have had this unit going on about 6 months now, and it has worked flawlessly. once the roller feet were attached and the freezer in place (one man job) it was good to go.tons of storage options. and the refer on top is indispensable. we have a large counter depth SxS in the house and the overflow from Costco now has a place. its good looks in the garage are amazing and for those so inclined gladiator has a full line of matching workshop grade shelving/storage units that match this awesome unit.the ONLY complaint i could come up with it the REFER section is a bit cold, but once the unit stabilized the temperature it has been perfect, no freezing, just keep the lettuce away from the blower vent. [...]Finally, being a whirlpool unit (my repairman says if you dont want to see him buy whirlpool made units) I expect a long lasting relationship with this freezer. Read more

Originally purchased last July 2007. Worked fine initially, and it gave me ample room for frozen food storage with the top portion for drinks the unit itself is well sorted. In May of 2008 it started not cooling, I called for service under warranty and it was fixed so we thought only to have the same problem again a month later. It was then fixed again for the same thing now here it is again exactly a month later and it's not cooling again finally [...] called Whirlpool to let them know it's the same problem and it cannot be fixed. I am now waiting for Whirlpool to contact me to replace the unit. I'm done with the Freezerator now just want the Chillerator so my frozen food will no longer be spoiled. So far Whirlpool has been good will see if they follow through with a replacement. Wish me luck. It seems that out of alot of these units I might have gotten a dud, but would still purchase another Whirlpool product if they stand behind their product. Read more

We received our unit two weeks ago. Besides waiting three weeks for unit to be shipped - everything worked out great. It was shipped exactly when they said it would be. We were getting rid of a 8' chest freezer. Stuff was getting lost at the bottom. The stuff from the 8' chest took up 80% of the 15' Freezer section. The proof will be how the unit works next summer when garage temperatures will reach 105 degrees. Many of our friends have had problems with freezers in their garages failing. The Freezerator is made for conditions up to 130 degrees. Read more

I love it. Big freezer section for all those club store purchases. Refrigerator section is great for indoor refer overflow and drinks. Refer door holds a CASE of can drinks or bottled water cold and at the ready, easy grab and go on the way out to the car. This unit is not Energy Star compliant but the compressor runs 1/4 of the time of my last garage freezer - It's got to be saving energy. Read more
