I use this product each morning to make myself one cup of coffee. I bought it because I ONLY drink one cup, not multiple cups. I like the simplicity of the product. I like not having to buy filters and the ease of cleaning the machine and the little reusable nylon filter that comes with it. I like using just the three little scoops of coffee required for one cup so there is no wasting of coffee. If there is a downside it is that I need to make the coffee right when I plan to drink it or right as I get ready to go out the door as there is no warming plate to keep it hot and the container and lid does not really keep it "hot" for an extended period of time. The good news is, though, that it only takes a couple of minutes to brew one cup. I also like making my coffee in the same container I plan to walk out the door with. That's nice. My wife runs out in the morning to catch the bus and tries to puchase a coffee if she has time before boarding. Now she does not have to worry about her time because she runs out of the house with this new single take with you mug product to enyoy on the bus with her. The first week we had the coffeemaker, it was great. Made a good cup of coffee and was convenient for a single-cup drinker like my boyfriend. However, it broke the second week we used it. The on/off light won't turn off and the machine just sits and does nothing. We left it alone for a week hoping it would reset itself, but it never did. It just stopped performing. Read more

A lot of times I can't get it to power up. After repeated attempts it usually works but sometimes I have to wedge a knife in the power button to make the power stay on. Read more

We used this coffee maker in our motorhome a couple of days and it is very good. Of course if you want more then one tall cup of coffee you get to use it several times a day. We are not big coffee drinkers and thought this product would be a more economical way to brew our coffee. Read more
