The two big concerns I had going in were the time it would take to dry clothes and how big of a load it could handle - It seems to deliver on both. It has handled pretty reasonable sized loads gets a load dry in about 75 minutes (without turing the room into a sauna) which is exactly what we needed.

The price is a little steep (you pay a little for the Bosch name), but compared to other condensation dryers on the market it's probably fair. Read more

This ventless dryer is the best

Ther condensation process results in a dryer that produces little of the heat associated with traditional dryers; the humidity is condensed from the drying vapors and run down the drain...so being ventless is not a problem!
Ando so quiet! It pairs beutifully with the axis washer as a stacked unit. Great for condos. Read more

I had my doubts about buying a condensation dryer for my 2nd floor condo, but after 1 year of reading reviews and looking at every dryer around, I settled on this Bosch model. WOW IT WORKS GREAT! Have no fear, it drys as well as a vented model, just a bit longer in dry time, but not much! It drys my blue-jeans in a full load with no problem. I am grateful to have finally made the decision to get the Axxis washer/dryer, no more trips down to the basement laundrymat in my building!!!! FREEDOM!!!!!! Read more

We live in an apt in NYC with no vents & got the stackable Axxis washer and dryer. They're great! Be sure to get the 220 volt dryer and not the lower voltage one -- it's faster. The dryer throws off heat when in use; I put a portable Vornado fan in my kitchen to aim at it & that helps. It does take 2 hrs to dry but you get used to that. The washer holds a fine supply of clothes. If you're a city dweller, these models are the way to go. Be sure to get the washer that's the deluxe model -- it wrings at a higher RPM, and that helps speed the dryer process up. The washer uses HE detergent only; it's easily found at grocery stores now (and esp Fairway). Read more

        north shore chicago

We don't have an outside exhaust so we have to use a condensation dryer. Before we purchased the Bosch, we had a Miele Condenser dryer. The Bosch is a huge, huge improvement over the Miele in every way. It's so much more efficient- drys much more quickly and doesn't seem to wrinkle clothing like the Miele. I love this machine! Read more
