This camera was purchased as a first digital camera for my 7 year old. It works fine with exception of the flash. I am sorely disappointed that the flash does not function. Overall, it is a great camera, and even though it doesn't come with a rechargable battery, lithium type batteries will last through photos/videos on a 2gig memory card. That's pretty good I think. Recommend only as inexpensive camera for children/teens. LCD screen is great and this particular camera looked perfect cosmetically upon receipt. Read more

The camara alone is good. The only problem that I had and I was very disappointed with was that I bought this camera as a birthday present for my brother and when he got it the camara seemed like it had been used before. I was very embarassed by this. I have shoped at Overstock before, and everything has been good and I haven't had any problems with. But the camara's screen was scratched. I asked my brother in embarrasment if he wanted to exchange it and he told me not to bother, but I was very disappointed with it. Read more

I bought this camera as a first digital for my son , an eight year old. I am disappointed with the quality of the re-furbishment. I had Overstocks send a seceond camera to double check my concerns. Both cameras appear very well used and show trememdous amounts of scratches on the LCD screen. I will fire it up and test the picture quality and other features but wanted people to know that Overstocks supply on this one doesn't look so good. Read more

This camera works like a dream. It's a great deal for the money but it does look like it has been used more times than once, so if you are going to give it as a gift DONT!!! But if you need a good camera for yourself and don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money, then this is a great deal. Read more
