This is a very large dryer sq foot wise. so large that we had to cut into the wall for the door to the laundry room to shut. We bought both the washer and dryer with the clear glass doors- our family does LOVE that option. I have had the dryer one month and have already called the repair man (which the service was quick and easy) but one of the vents inside the dryer already is burnt looking. They told me that was normal for it to look burnt and I still find that hard to believe. so apprently the heat burns one of the vents. I will have to say that there are a ton of options and we have tried most of them and they work well. Comforters and large loads we still have to put on for extra time for them to be dry. Overall- I was not that impressed, I thought for a thousand dollars that it would dry better and stay looking new longer. Read more

We purchased this drier after our 12 yr old Maytag died..... We went in looking at a newer model but we decided on this because it offered ALL the features of the newer more expensive model. Our first attempt at drying was a large load of towels.... In our old machine, this load would have been split into two loads and each load would have run around 50 minutes. We loaded ALL the towels into one load and picked the correct towel setting.... 55 minutes later ALL the towel were completely dry! We have cut our drying time in half! I would reccommend this drier to anyone! Too bad the customer service is Horrible at this location. Here we were ready to spend alot of money, and we had to wander around and find someone to wait on us. Lowes almost got our business that day.................... Read more

Five Kids washing day and night from Palatine, IL

This replaced an Sears high efficiency dryer that was only seven years old. Was hesitate to purchase (versus repair), but very happy that I chose to replace. It drys more quickly than the Sears dryer. Loading is fine, though I do miss having the dryer door lie flat (open down versus open sideways). Read more

I GOT THIS PAIR OF WASHER-DRYER YESTERDAY, AND LET ME TELL YOU THIS IS THE EXCELLENT CHOICE I MADE. VERY QUIET AND UNDERSTANDABLE. EASY TO USE. EVEN MY 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER KNOW WHAT TO DO. I'll NEVER buy an appliance (or anything else) at Best Buy!!!! Had a HORRIBLE experience buying an appliance at Best Buy.com and a messed up delivery - extremely rude and unprofessional customer reps. I am completely happy with this product and the companion LG washer - super customer service and fabulous delivery/installation/haul-away!!
