I've only had this phone for a few weeks and have not taken it outside to try the range but I am very happy with the phone so far. My old phone was difficult to hear the caller and my son advised me to invest in a more expensive phone. I read the reviews for this phone and decided to give it a try. This is great value in a phone. It is compact and fits in the small space I have available, yet the handset is large enough to be convenient and comfortable. The sound is very clear. It has a speaker phone feature which I find very useful for (business) conference calls. I was going to buy a less expensive model, but based on the online reviews, I purchased this slightly more expensive one. I am really glad I did because I got far better value. Read more

It's amazing what [$] can get you these days. For a few dollars more than the price of a new battery for my old Sony cordless, I was able to buy a whole new phone with more features. My girlfriend suggested I buy this phone after complaining that I was sick of using my archaic corded phone, and I was as pleased as could be. I was forced to buy a new phone when I broke it from sheer idiocy (threw it to let off steam) and was forced to buy something new since this phone wasn't available anywhere else. I was not pleased with the new phone I bought, and as soon as it was available again purchased this model for a second time. I figure I'll just give the Phillips phone that I bought to my parents or someone else when I am reunited with my true love. The quality is great, speakerphone works well, good range, very very comfortable and the design is beautiful. Looks very nice sitting in front of my silver/black television.
