This home gym is ideal for those of us who have to work out at home and mostly by ourselves..i like the smith machine for the safety factor when it comes to benching by yourself. I am 6'5" and can basically use every function of this total gym. My elbows are real CLOSE to the frame of the smith machine..but if I do controlled movements it will not come into contact with the gym. The seated leg extension is a little short for me whereas I cannot attain full range of motion due to my heighth...however I can still use it with more than 80% effectiveness. This gym is sturdy and well constructed....do not be intimidated with the assembly, it is very straight forward and I did it by myself..if able, lay the cables out immediately and let them uncoil for a day or two..when feeding the cables, make sure they are not twisted. Other than that it is not too hard to assemble and it saved my 190$$! Read more

Overall a pretty good home gym

I'm a high school basketball player looking to gain strength. I got this so i can workout from home instead of having to go to the gym everyday and overall i'm pretty impressed. I'm able to get a full body workout and do pretty much every exercise i would do at the gym. My only problems would be that when using the cables, your workout isn't very smooth and i would have liked the gym to come with some type of chart showing all the workouts you can do with it.
