We live about 50 to 60 miles from any major metropolitan areas. Prior to installing the MS-2000 Amplified model we used rabbit ears for our bedroom TV. At best we got maybe three stations with very poor reception. When I installed the MS-2000 reception improved just a tad over the rabbit ears until I conected the amplifier supplied with the unit. WOW, what a difference. I ran the set up on the TV and the stations, both digital and annalog kept piling on the screen. We ended up with about 28 stations, 15 digital and 13 annalog. The pictures are crystal clear, and if you didn't know any better you would think it was cable or satelite. By far the best antenna reception I've ever seen in my 52 years. Read more

Looking for reception from Hebron, NY

This antenna would not obtain a signal in our rural area. It has been returned for credit. I would not recommend it in rural areas being more than 60 miles from the transmitting stations. Read more

This antenna was purchased to be a test antenna. Since the analog TV stations were going dark, and the increased costs associated with keeping cable with my cable provider due to the digital changes; I am considering dumping cable and going to network broadcasts. This antenna indicated that with the use of a DTV converter we could and may make the switch. The signals received were better than calculated however the signal margin is not going to be acceptable on the remaining VHF DTV channels (specifically Ch 3). Due to the size of the unit there just is not enough capture area and gain to to the job. This antenna does what it is expected to do and in an urban area should work well. Read more
