She's 94 and has never had a dishwasher. the kitchen is VERY TINY and the size of this DW fit the bill. It was easy to install, and MUCH quieter than expected. Has several good cycles and we ran dishware through most of them as we re-stocked the cabinets. It holds a suprising amount if there are no pots or large bowls. The inside racks have a flimsy feel to them but they have versatility. It's a shame it didn't come in bisque. It works and looks fine, but rather noisy (no soundguard). More importantly though, they could have done a lot better job in its knobs/dials. They are noisy, cranky, not smooth. Interior could have been designed a whole lot better, too. Sure it is small (and that's the whole point of purchasing it) but the baskets/wires etc are not working comfortably and smoothly enough (compared to other DWs I used).
