We overall are thrilled with the unit. However, I caution people who are wanting counter depth and an ice maker space becomes very limited even though the appliance is wider. To do it all over again we would have looked at other kitchen design options for the standard size refregirator. Those who have children - forget it, as there is not enough room in either compartment for more than two people who eat out only once per week. Read more

I would like to be able to use an advanced water filter inside this fridge but to date I am told there are no other filters available that fit this fridge. I live in hope..... This fridge may be smaller in capacity but the excellent internal design allows for more usable space thus negating the issue of decreased storage size. Read more

Extremely impressed with the quiet operation, German sense of fit and finish, cleans p easily for stainless, and the excellent water dispenser. The limited depth and side by side architecture has us scrambling to fit everything for two adults and a two year old, feels as though the shelving is not the most reconfigurable. If you are looking for a Bosch 36" fridge with external ice and water. This is your ONLY choice. I needed matching appliances, so I purchased this one. It looks and works great. No mechanical complaints whatsoever. I am a little disapointed that Bosch didn't make a larger capacity fridge. (maybe non-counter depth) It does well with the space that is present. The wine rack, large shelves, and chiller are convenient. Also, the sides are not metallic, but more of a painted gray. Read more
