These little rocks, rocked my world after I hooked them up! First impressive thing about these speakers; the design. + Not only are they pretty well weighted, they bare a remarkable resemblance to a real rock! Stack a couple of real stones next to them and you'd never know the difference! + The sound quality is pristine, for the price range that is. I have never heard this high of quality from such a cheap speaker. You can get some serious volume out of these speakers too! + Another neat feature is that they have a bolt anchor on their bottom side. This is great for locking them down in preperation for severe weather. + I have purchased two pairs of these speakers for my yard and would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for serious sound out of a little rock! I purchased 2 pairs of these speaker to use on a outdoor movie area in my backyard and the have stood the test of the elements to this date. Very easy to install and they look and feel just like rock material. Now if I can just get my Jack Russel Terrier to stop lifting his little leg on them I won't have to put him in the time out corner. The speaker come with extra long wiring that you can install with the crip caps that come in the box. This is a cheaper and possibly a better purchase than the Speaker Craft version which cost twice as much. Read more

I WAS AT BEST BUY JUST LOOKING AROUND AND SAW THESE SPEAKERS.I THOUGHT THEY LOOKED REALLY COOL AND THE MAGNOLIA GUY CAME OVER AND SAID THAT THEY WERE HAVING A SALE ON THE SPEAKERCRAFT ROCK SPEAKERS.SO I WENT AND LISTENED TO THE SPEAKERCRAFTS AND WAS TRULY IMPRESSED BUT THE PRICE TAG WAS NOT SO IMPRESSIVE.SO I WENT BACK OVER TO THE INSIGNIA ROCK SPEAKERS AND LISTENED TO THEM AND THEY SOUNDED JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER AND THAT WAS HOOKED UP TO A JUNKY YAMAHA RECIVER.WHEN I INSTALLED THEM AT HOME AND HOOKED THEM UP TO MY PIONEER AND BAM!!!!! We read the reviews before we purchased these speakers, and decided to give them a try. They are even better than we had hoped. I haven't found one thing to complain about with them. I've had these speakers for a year now and they have held up through rain, heat, snow and extreme cold temperatures. I wasn't sure if speakers this cheap would be able to meet my standards, but I was pleasantly surprised. These speakers are incredible for the price. They look great in the landscaping around my brick patio and have added a great deal of enjoyment to our BBQ's and other outdoor activities. I suggest to anyone looking at outdoor speakers to give these a try before spending 3x the money on other brand names. Read more
