I purchased this wash machine from a local retailer. I decided to pass on their delivery and set up fee and do it myself. I had an easy enough time with the hook up. It was not very difficult. I then turned it on to test the machine. It filled with water and then began to agitate. So far so good. I continued on with a different project. 90 minutes later the washer was still agitating. The cycle dial had not moved. It was like a clock that was wound too tight. I had a brand new defective HYDROWAVE. The retailer initially wanted to send a repair man. I wouldn't have it. I went through a HUGE amount of arguing with my local retailer. Eventually, I had a new machine delivered, setup, and the defective unit removed.
It has been 3 weeks with the HYDROWAVE. I enjoy the quiet washing cycles. The salesman told me it was belt driven(no transmission) and it has a suspension system to keep the machine from walking across the floor with an unbalanced load. The size is adequate to wash a large comfo

If you need a washer that lasts longer than 16 months, this is not the one to purchase. If you want a brand name that backs thier products, GE is not the company to depend on. This washer started banging around as if the load was uneven and then quit working completely. The water goes in but none of the cycles work. For a fee, GE will come and look at the washer. The warranty ran out 4 months ago. GE is a brand I will avoid in the future. Other companies stand by their products. Read more

I purchased this washer and the matching dryer 5 months ago and could not be more pleased! I had to keep checking it for the first 4 or so washes because it was so quiet I thought it wasn't working! I love the fact it is self leveling when the load is out of balance! Also, with the combo of the dryer, my electric bill dropped noticeabley within the first full month of use!
Can't ask for better than that! Read more

We ordered this washer from our local store about a month ago and are very pleased with it so far. The 3.2 Cu. Ft. capasity is great. We can fit about twice as many clothes in it as our previous washer and it does a much better job getting out dirt and stains. The washer was delivered and setup for us quickly. Read more

I just recently purchased a GE Washer and I am very content with the product. It is extremely quiet and fits all my needs. Kudos to the staff at Home Depot as well. They were very helpful; even calling other locations for product availability. Read more
