We purchased this dryer almost 6 months ago now. We live in a small 2 bedroom condominium and space is very limited. We purchased this dryer and its matching washer counterpart specifically to give us more storage space. As with the stacked washer and dryer, our laundry room now can store much more.
The dryer is quieter than our previous model and works very well.
It does not over dry your clothes, so if you use the automatic drying settings, you won't even have to restretch your jeans when you first wear them after a wash. Most of the time, I use the automatic dryer settings. This can leave clothes slightly cool to the touch, ever so slightly damp. I just select to have them "more dry" when first setting up the dry cycle and they come out perfect without damaging your clothes.
My only complaint would be that when I dry large bedding items (polyester stuffed queen comforter), they do not dry in the center if I use the automatic settings and also, if you don't use delicate cycle it can

I purchased this dryer and the matching washer, with delivery. The washer and dryer were installed, and I begun doing laundry.I took 2 hours to dry 3 towels and 3 dish towels. I called LG Service and they said not to use dryer sheets, and to clean the sensor, I did. The next load of light cottons took 2and a half hours. And a set of queen sheets then took over 3 hours to dry on manual high. I called LG back and no one would answer their repair dept. number. I called Home Depot and they called LG and were told they would not send a repair man until the delivery person had come back and checked that it had been set-up properly. After 2 days of being givien the run around, I called Home Depot who agreed to take the set back. LG is not customer oriented. I do not recommend them for this reason, even though the washer worked fine. Read more

I chose this unit because it is stackable, for my small space. I went though all the prompts for required and optional equipment and arranged for delivery.

Apparently in order to stack, you need to buy a "stacking kit". Not only is there no mention of this during the required or optional parts section of the order (is it not an optional part? a part that's required for stacking?), but you can't even order this kit on the website. It's not stocked in stores either.

Delivery was attempted but the driver said I had to refuse delivery, order the kit, and arrange for re-delivery. So another four-hour window must be cleared for this.

I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with customer service. They would not ship the kit to me, only to wherever the delivery would be coming from. They could not rush shipping at my cost.

Leaving alone why this part can't be ordered on the website, I asked why there was no mention of needing to call to add the kit to your order if you want to use the sta

I love my LG washer and dryer! With 4 children we have alot of laundry and with our front loaders it makes doing laundry less of a chore. If only they could fold the clothes, it would be my dream come true...I just love being able to get all of my laundry done in a fraction of the time over other washers and dryers we had...My LG also saves me in detergent and energy, that with so much laundry makes a huge difference in our pocket books...I dreaded doing laundry before, seeing piles of clothes I would spend the entire day trying to get it all done, only for the next days laundry, not any more!! The other thing I love is all the options, this makes our clothes last longer and saves going to the dry cleaners each week...I have bragged and shown off my washer and dryer to all of my friends and family, pointing out the ease and the money we save...The LG brand has surpassed our expectations and has been a brand in which we look for whenever we make a purchase...So far we have LG phones and

My fiance and I bought this drier (along with the LG 3.6cu washer) to replace a 6 year old GE drier that was taking up to 4 hours to dry one load of laundry. Very easy set up. The only difficult thing was attaching the power cord (NOT INCLUDED). Which my fiance had no trouble with. I think I could have done it. We had both the washer and drier up an running in less than 30 minutes. I think it took longer to get them out of the boxes than it did to set them up. The different dry settings are great. They have speed dry which is good for a smaller load of laundry. takes about 25 minutes to fully dry. And Air dry for those things that you don't really want heat getting to. We have quite a few NFL jerseys that I was previously very afraid to put in the drier. (You ladies with football fan spouses know what I"m talking about.) But now insted of letting them air dry hanging over a chair, I can put them in the drier on the air dry setting and not worry about runining his favorite article of cl
