I own an apartment building with small galley kitchens. I was updating and searched for a microwave that I could install reserving precious counterspace yet fit into a small space above a 24 inch stove. This was the only above the range MW that I could find that wasn't the conventional size meant to fit into kitchens of a much larger scale. I live in one of the apartments and have been using mine for some time now. This 22-in. unit was purchased, after much searching, to replace a 24-in. over-the-oven Litton microwave that had become unreliable, after 23 years. It turns out that most units being manufactured now are 30 inches or more. The old unit and oven under it are built into a brick wall. I took all the facings off, but am unable to remove the old unit. So, the new one is sitting on the counter. But, it works fine. Read more

I purchased the LG over-the-range microwave about a month ago to compliment some new cabinetry I was having installed in my second kitchen. I was surprised at how roomy it was inside. Not only does it look good, but I am really getting a lot of use out of it. Everything works as illustrated. Very please with the product. I've only had it for 2 months but it is still working good and I use it everyday. There were a lot of holes in the back support so it was easy to located a stud and install, a lot easier than the 2 other mocrowaves I tried before it which had a limiting number of holes. Read more
