When i purchased this thermostat i was worried by the negitive reviews. I bought it because for all the features you cant beat the price. I am completely satisfied. It took me 15 mins to install and a bit longer to program. My hint to all those who read this go to the web site and print out the manual the one in the box is small. Read the manual on regular paper with a highliter in hand. Highlight the parts that apply to you. This thermostat has tons of features and if you try to program all of them at once you will get frustrated. Once you get the thermostat and heater working then you can come back and program this unit till your heart is content. I say it is a great value. Read more

screen was flashing "check heat pump system" called ctc for tech support- they told me that my heat pump sytem needs to be checked. however, i do not have a heat pump system. they said that i had a faulty thermistate and for me to return it. and basicly said sorry and for me to call a service tech. so that was their pro advice.. when i hung up the phone it dawned on to pull the batters out of the unit to reset it and what do ya know .....it works just fine now. great tech team at ctc.
