I have tried alot of products for acne and while some worked, they were very harsh on my skin and I dreaded using them. I always look for gentle products to use on my skin and it's very hard to find products that fight acne but also fight irritation. This one does! I swear the first time I put it on my face, I felt refreshed and calmed. I get redness on my face sometimes, especially with harsh products, but this one was gentle and actually calmed my skin. It smells so light and pleasant that it's very comforting. It goes on very watery and cool, but dries to an almost matte finish while still keeping your skin soft and hydrated. It diminishes the look of your pores and makes a great canvas for makeup. Some could use this as a primer alone if you've got great skin already. I have tried it all! Ever since I was a teen (20+ years ago), I have tried everything from antibiotics to retinol, proactive to murad products. This by far works the best for me. I use it twice a day. I didn't realize how well it worked till I ran out of it on vacation and started to break out. I have whiteheads, black heads, enlarged pores and the nasty deep cystic acne .... IF I don't use this stuff. Using it, my family and friends have noticed the obvious clearing up of my skin. This is great and I am a faithful buyer. Sometimes I will use a product and it will work for a few months then stop working... this has been loyally working for over a year now. I am 53 years old and have suffered with recurrences of acne ever since I went thru menopause. Nothing I used seemed to work. I can no longer use the products I did when I was younger because now they irritate my older, sensitive skin. Had about given up when I saw this in a magazine. Took a chance and tried it and am so glad I did! It clears up my spots without overdrying and keeps new ones from forming. The scent and texture is extremely pleasant, I truly enjoy using it. I bought this product to try and combat some breakouts around my chin. Within days of using it, my breakouts were pretty much gone. The product claims to stop breakouts before they start - this, I'm afraid, is not true... but it is pretty effective in clearing present breakouts up.
