I purchased this product as a spur of the moment gift for this girl that I have known for a number of years, but had to say goodbye to due to college. It just so happened to be her birthday when I gave it to her.What's great about this product is that it's perfect for saying that final goodbye that is so difficult to say, but you've always wanted to say it somehow. It lets the receiver of the gift know that you will never forget them, and same the other way around. I think what's really great about this gift, is that it's truly unique and uncommon. You also get to keep the other piece of the puzzle, and put it together someday hopefully down the road.Initially when I first opened the package, I thought the chain it was on was too short, but then I tried on mine and it fit just fine. Bought this as a Christmas present for my wife and I after the rough year and a half we've been through. I am very strong into things that have meaning or symbols that we can have with us to celebrate our love and this fit my needs nicely. However, the chain is a little too ordinary for my wife and she wanted to put the pendant on another chain. I took one of the pendants off and put it on a necklace she also got for me, keeping the two together. However, now she seems to have misplaced the pendant - which I suppose could be some sort of VERY trite forshadowing, but it just seems to obvious for me to think it carries that much weight. If other premium chains had been available I certainly would have purchased it for her pendent and kept mine standard. Oh well. HOPEFULLY it will turn up. Read more

I am a guy, and got this for my love and I, as she lives in another city. She loves them, and yes, it is incredibly sentimental so you better like the person ;-p. I do think they are a little expensive, but I suppose since they're supposed to be hand made, I guess I can forgive. Also the chain for the guy's necklace is pretty short, choker like. Luckily I had a long enough chain laying around that we put mine on. Her's we transfered to the longer chain they came with because the shorter one's lock was giving us too much trouble.
