Honestly, I posted another important post up about this and PSSL didn't post it. I don't know if it has to do with deals but you the consumer should know what's up, that's why these are here, not just for the good, but for the bad to make a sound judgement on the gear prior to purchase. So here goes. The unit itself is nice and light, feels natural and looks attractive. The price is right and the sound quality, when not skipping is great. Now when it does skip, like in the middle of a performance or a mix CD, this unit will make you want to chuck it against a brick wall. But being the scientist that I am, I prefer to try and recreate the situation. CD clean? check. No Scratches? check. No dust? Check? Lack of Vibrations? check. So what now? A unit that skips at random and needs some fine tuning. That's what. Save your money for a higher level American Audio product. This one is for the birds. Read more

Dear[...]: I find that the CDI-100-MP3 is a very good and practicle training ground for someone who is still into spinning with vinyl.As an old school die-hard vinyl DJ,the CDI-100 makes the transition to CD mixing a lot easier.The controls and the LCD readout are easy and simplified.And also the price was incredible!I caught the summer sale you guys had for [$] apiece and I had to "rob Peter to pay Paul" to get a set! And besides not everyone right off the top can afford [$] apiece for the Pioneers!All in all I think that for the price,it was a good deal and it's a decent product. This little guy packs a punch.. I use turn tables myself but all my friends use CD players now. So I bought a pair of these for the crib, So when they come over there's no excuses for why they should not be at the top there game. We like to talk smack to each other all the time. I was very pleased with these players.After having bought a Gemini,mixer combo system that was horrible.These are leaps and bounds better.The loop function loops instantly,unlike the gemini players that have a pause.The overall feel of the players, pitch wheel,pitch slider etc,is great.The price is unreal for the quality!American Audio did an awesome job on these cd players.
