This is a great camera. The video quality is great on the LCD screen and it is easy to use. One of the only bad things is that the mic is TOO sensitive. When I play back the video I can here my fingers pressing buttons. Another thing is that the audio doesn't record at the same pace as the video. I'm thinking of buying a separate mic. The video doesn't get too much of a motion blur, which is good but you have to have a pretty still subject to take a still pic because of the slow shutter speed. One other thing is that you can't zoom while taking video footage. Overall it was a good purchase. It may not be the best, but if you're looking for a good camera at a low price, you can;t go wrong with this purchase. Read more

When I got this camcorder, I shot quite a few test videos and pictures. All of them turned out very dark even when I lit up the scenes with many lights. Also, when I watched the videos (both on the camcorder itself and on my PC), all the microphone on the camcorder picked up was a lot of hissing rather than the talking I was trying to get on camera. I ordered this for our 14 yr old and he loved it, no flaws in the product at all and the price u can't beat anywhere. Now just putting up with the aggrivation of him in our face all the time, it also comes with a simple easy to follow instruction booklet. I bought this for my little brother and he absolutely loves it. The only complaint I have, I think fits for all digital cameras/camcorders... they should include a bigger memory card. Theres not too much you can do with the tiny ones they include with the camera, so you do have to go buy one that can actually hold more than a minute or 2 of vid. Read more
