EXPENSIVE GARBAGE

First time I used it, some internal sensor was defective. Viking will NOT REPLACE it even if you just took it out of the box. It was fixed under warranty. 1 year 2 months later half of the display blanks out. This microwave doesn't even get used everyday. I found this site as I looked for a company that can sell replacement parts for it. Can't find a single parts place. It is actually made by SHARP, and I can't even find parts for it through SHARP. This is what you get when you spend over $1000 on a microwave. (I'm including the trim kit to flush mount in cabinetry). DO NOT BUY. Read more

I love the Viking microwave. I bought it to "match" appliances, thinking it was just a good "name." It's large enough for casseroles; it's easy to run & has an "add a minute" button. Heats evenly - can't ask for better. Read more
