I bought this White 48" High Wall Curio / Jewelry Mirror to organize my jewelry. I was, frankly, shocked to see how many necklaces and chains I had in my old jewelry boxes. Now I can see everything clearly and have been wearing things that I had forgotten I had. I have a lot of jewelry pieces that I love to wear. This armoire hangs in my walk-in closet, where I dress, and allows me to see all my pieces - necklaces, earrings, bracelets - as I choose my outfit. It's large, but not overly so. The mirror is big enough that I can see how the jewelry goes with my whole outfit. I love that my necklaces aren't buried underneath each other in a tangled mess. I love that the length of the armoire allows multiple rows of necklace hooks, with enough length to not crush or tangle the pieces. The latch is very strong. I have two small kids that would not be able to open it, and that is without needing to use the enclosed lock and key. In fact, the strength of the latch is the only "not so good" thing, in that when I do latch it, the whole armoire shakes upon opening. I am so happy I finally made this a priority, it is just perfect to organize and protect the jewelry you have. There are too many rows of ring space for me, but I use the extra rows to hold more earrings by pushing the back into the space where you push the ring and letting the earring dangle down, works well for smaller danglers.It is high quality, feels very secure on the wall, and very sturdy when opening and closing. This is a great product that provides an attractive and useful solution to every woman's jewelry storage problem. Instead of a tangle of necklaces and constant searching, everything is "in place". The purchase of this jewelry cabinet was my first experience with Overstock.com, but it won't be my last if their myriad of other products are anywhere close to the quality of the cabinet! While I purchased the jewelry cabinet because it filled both a need and a space, I hoped that the incredible price wasn't going to result in an incredible lack of workmanship. It didn't. The cabinet has clean lines that were crafted with care and an eye to simplistc design, the construction is solid. Although some consumers have noted problems with installation, mine went up without a hitch...it took longer to spring the cabinet from the packaging than it did to install it!
