These cook food faster, more evenly. They clean fairly easily by hand and come out great by using a recommended dishwasher soap in the DW. It is important to use nonscratch cooking utensils because the interiors do scratch very, very easily. The first time I used them, one pan got a few scratches after I gently stirred the contents with a stainless spoon; thereafter, switched to nonscratch utensils. It is for this reason only I give the product 4 stars. I did a lot of product research before buying this set and couldn't be more pleased with them. They are: balanced, not too heavy, oven friendly, cut cooking time and are clad stainless steel.
