I have 4 month old twins and they came home last month from the hospital. Gianna weighed 3lbs 12oz and Isabella weighed 3lbs 1oz. Both of them were to small for a seat but when we brought these seats in the twins were put in them for a "test ride" and the seats passed with flying colors. Although the head support was good for Bella and Gi then because they didn't reach the top part, but now that they are taller it is a bit of a pain. Their heads and always flopping forward and if we adjust the seats to where they won't the base isn't leveled. We fixed that by putting a snuggler head rest in the seats. They are also very roomy and the girls (Bella is 4lbs and Gi is 5lbs 5oz.) have a lot of room to grow. When our son Palmer was born almost 2 years ago we got a Graco safety seat in Heirloom. It was horrible. He was a preemie as well and weighed 4lbs when he came home at 2months old. The head support didn't work and he outgrew the seat by the time he was 6 months old because the straps wou

I really like this seat for when my child was a newborn. In regards to another person saying the straps are too short for a 5 month old baby...NO WAY! You have to adjust the button in the back so it fits in the very top hole thus adjusting the strap length to the farthest point. I used this seat up til my baby daughter was 6 mos old and then I switched back to me Graco Snugride ONLY because it was lighter for me to carry with her heavier weight. The Peg Viaggio fits WAY better in shopping carts, works great with Peg strollers, has thick fabric, easy to adjust the straps (no rerouting!), can be used with or without the base, HUGE canopy, and it's made bigger so it can accomodate babies up to 30 lbs and 30 in....however with your child in the seat this would just be way to heavy to carry so the weight factor should not even matter. Unfortuntaely I could not carry it any longer so I could not use it to the average 1 yr mark, but then again I have very BIG babies and all 4 seem to outgrow

This was strongly recommended to me but I was very disappointed. The first one we bought broke easily. When it fell, the plastic material broke easily though it fell less than 2 feet high. Got a replacement. Though I have been using it for 7 months now, I hate it. The latch of the carrier does not disengage with the base easily. My wife and I struggle a lot with it. It is also very very hard to engage the latch on the belt. Very frustrating. The matching stroller is terrible as well. The two latches in the stroller that is for connecting with the car seat does not easily line up. When you have a 20 lb baby, plus the weight of the carrier, there is not enough time or strength to figure out how to align the carrier with the stroller. I am very very disppointed with this product.. Read more

I am a mama of twin 5 month old boys. After lots and lots of reasearch on car seats and dbl strollers I fell in love with these seats. Having twins ( if you hadnt guessed) ot takes awhile to get in and out of the car and into and out of the stoller. This seats click so quick into the bases in the car and come out even faster. If you happen to be in a car without the bases you can attach the seats with a seat belt. I have the Perego Duette Stroller that again the seats attach to just like in the car. Every time I am out people stop and ask me about the stroller. It is so stylish. My family in the past five months has bought (including mine) 5 Perego car seats!! I guess you can say we are very impressed and happy with their products!! Yes they are a bit heavy but not so crazy heavy that I would tell you not to buy it.
TO ALL TWIN PARENTS: PERFECT STROLLER FOR TWINS, there were few but some that tried to stray me from these seats and stroller. I love it...I could not be happi

Great Seat, but HEAVY.

I like the car seat for the simple fact that it snaps so easily in and out of the base. I bought this car seat because I HAD to have the Pliko P3 stroller (looove it!). It works great with the stroller and snaps easily in and out of it.

My only prob with the car seat is that it is very heavy. Add a large baby to begin with and you will have back problems toting this seat around.
I've gotten used to it, but I do wish they were more travel systems out there that I liked as much as Peg Perego's, but still affordable with great safety reviews.

I don't understand the problem people are having with the Side Impact protection around the head. My son is very long and has a big head and he has no problem with the padding on the side and has plenty of room to move around.

Overall, it's stylish and safe but a pain in the back. Read more
