Recently bought this TV and I have to say if you are having trouble deciding between LCD and Plasma, then LCD is the way to go! This one in particular is super sleek and sexy and is so thin I barely notice it in my living room, (kinda looks like a painting on the wall hah). The LCD is perfect for rooms with a lot of light as it does not reflect glare. As for the specs, it's 1080p highest res, 120 Hz with motion interpolation technology (clearest LCD picture I’ve ever seen), with 178 degree viewing angle. We had almost 20 people over for the Broncos game and there wasn’t a bad seat in the house! Also Reel120™ Film De-Judder and PictureMaster™ HD VI Processor. Sleek, sexy, and super-thin![@] Read more

I recently bought it for our living room & even without the auxiliary audio, the sound quality is superb. I thought since it is very slim that it would affect its image clarity & quality, but the Hitachi Ultravision proved me wrong. It may be a bit pricey but for what it is worth ... it is a delight to have it. Even my wife who was skeptical about it ... was blown away. It is a 'must have' even for a casual user like me. Read more

When I bought it I was looking for a thin TV to mount on the wall. It is a monitor, but i only use Cable so no need for a tuner. The lack of inputs wasn't a huge issue since I use a Receiver for inputs, but it would have been nice to have a few extra. There is an add-on box that you can use to add more ports. Read more
