As a Captain of our local fire department and the incident commander of this incident, and a lot was at stake. The quality optics of the Steiner’s allowed me to stay at a safe distance and identify the products involved. I have always wanted a Steiner binocular for personal use but could never afford them. Replaced Leupold gold rings for scouting applications and occasional bird watching at the Black Water Refuge. Weight and balance are good as are optics. Great clarity with no distortion or blurring at edges.
