I had one before when I took a fall and it protected be at speeds of 50+ while cornering. It is also a grat stylish jacket if you ride is 90+ weather. The only real con is that this jacket needs more reflective material for night rides. Here where it can be quite cool in the mornings, yet fairly hot in the afternoon I've found it easier to just wear a lightweight windbreaker underneath for the cool conditions rather than install and remove the liner daily. Also the armor could be a little more substantial. But all around a great jacket for summer conditions.
