These boots are the lightest/lowest profile boots out there. The F20s have a slightly lower arch support than the F22 and actually feel a little stiffer due to the materials used. They are very comfortable for long periods and the Power-Lace Pro works great (no more blisters). The heel cup is good for people with narrower feet (like me; very supportive without being too tight. These boots were made to go with the Relay bindings and the interface is near perfect. Read more

the plastic pull handle broke the first time i tightened the boot, and the warranty process is fairly arduous. other than that the boots are great. i wear 11.5's and the 11-11.5's fit PERFECT, plus they reduce the length and let me ride narrower boards. Read more

Very well made boots, the heel hold is the best of any boot I have tried on (great if you have problems with heel lift, like I do). The Fusion outsole really is smaller than other boots, I wear a size 10 and can fit them into a s/m binding no problem. The lacing system is a breeze and lets you customize the fit with the, uh, locking lace guide things. That said, this boot is definitely soft, considerably more-so after breaking it in when compared to trying it on in the store (to me it felt decently stiff in the store, but after 10 min of wearing it it softened up a lot). The shock absorption is less than other boots in this price range due to the minimized outsole design, but is still cushiony enough to stomp big landings. These boots do not stretch out as much a most other boots, after 3 days of hard riding they had maybe stretched out 1/4 of a size, so dont buy them too small thinking they will pack out b/c they wont...That said, if you want a soft boot with incredible heel hold and

I just picked up a pair of this years version of the F20. It was to be the third pair and the third version of these boots that Ive owned. The F20 is the first and only boot out there that Ive found that holds my heel in place. The same is true of this years version. Some things have unfortunately changed though. The new version of the F20 is significantly softer than in previous years. Two years ago the F20 easily couldve have been used for splitboarding and backcountry freeriding (I still use mine from 2 years ago for this purpose and theyre fantastic!). The flex pattern of this years model, however, is definitely more at home in the park than the backcountry. I returned the F20s and picked up the F24s instead. Funny thing...the flex on the new F24 is almost identical to the flex on my two year old F20s! Salomon still makes the best boots on the market in my opinion, but it looks like theyre designs may be trending more to the freestyle end of the spectrum. Just my two cen

this boot is awesome.. the lacing system is a breeze and they are way comfortable. the liner is sewn into the boot itself so it makes the entire boot alot smaller. the stiffness is perfect they are on the softer side but they dont hurt your feet if you go free ride all day.. only downside is they dont like to dry out because you cant remove the liner, so get some old tubes socks and fill them with rice, put them in the boot over night they will be dry by morning.. not my idea but works great. Read more
