i love the versatility and the variety of sizes of the burner- can make delicate sauces and melt chocolate, to full power large pot boiled dinners and 5 pots can fit on the grates without pushing one off center. i just wish i could fit the large 3 grates in the sink to immerse and wash thoroughly- and if something splashes you have to remove them in order to wipe up spills and then also wash the grates-but easily cleans right away- i've never had to scrub. also safe for little ones since you have to hold knob and depress until it ignites Read more

This rangetop replaced an older unit. It has a greatly improved cooking surface that offers unilevel grids that are easy to move and accomodate different pots and pans. I can have 5 different dishes cooking simultaneously with varying temperatures. The unit has been designed to keep spills contained and easy to clean up. We do a lot of stir frying, so the large center burner works great for us. We can have a large wok in the center and still have room for large soup pots and frying pans on the side burners. Very well thought-out design. We like it better than some cooktops that are 2-3 times the price. But, it takes a bit of practice to master lighting it. You need to hold down the knob hard for 3-4 seconds in the ignite position. Read more

I've had several cooktops. But this Bosch is the best. Powerful, handsome, the easiest ever to clean--a top consideration: the 3 grates easily lift off to wipe everything clean. But its striking looks, varied heat burners and great center soup pot or wok+ burner allows for many different cooking needs. I also have simplified things and added space to my small kitchen by using the sturdy grates as a perfect perch for any stuff pulled out of the oven. No searching for a clear or safe space on my counter. Whatever the heat, nothing bothers it and it's great to cool things down on. And after I wash pots & pans, give them a quick shake, I set them face down on the grates to quickly dry. My two sons will each get one. Read more

I initially considered one of the more expensive Bosch cooktop models, and am glad to have settled with this one. The Cooktop is great. It looks fantastic, the middle burner has dual flames to heat things up extremely fast. The contiuous grates make moving pots and pans easy. No complaints whatsoever. Read more
