Does not heat, though it runs constantly (on 220v), alternating between throwing out cold (cold when trying to heat something?) and warm (an exaggeration, more like cool) air. It IS NOT a quiet unit. You cannot hear someone talking over the thunderous roar. When I have a client in the shop I have to turn it off to have a conversation! This form would not let me give it only one star rating. We called several times to make sure that it would hit the addition we have added. Once obtaining the unit all it did is blow cold air even on heat. Now we are told it was never meant to be a heater for the room.
