I've been a pro DJ for over 30 years. Believe me I know my gear! I demoed this table top player at my friend's music store and was blown away. It sounds better than any of the other American Audio CD players or mixers I demoed costing much more. This player has a rich full sound with a kick-butt preamp for more clarity and power. As a mobile dj since 1983 I have used lots of gear. I really enjoy the simplicity of this unit. I compare this unit to a Numark mix3 but the CK-1000 just has a better layout and functions. The scratch effect is not it's high selling point but it's an attempt. All of the other features work great and if you purchase the ck-case, your are setting up in style. For mobile dj use, this is the best bang for the buck. Read more
