All i can say is, i've been using several types of golf balls from maxfli to topflite, always looking for the best of both worlds, good distance with a soft feel, while staying budget minded. Well, some of the ball did well, but then i was given a sleave of pro-v1's and i realized just how poor some of these ball are. Pro-v1's are simply the best, and i esspecially like them for putting. since using the Pro-v1's, i usually 1 putt, ocassionaly 2 putt, havn't 3 putted once since using them. they are precise, soft, roll true, and easy to control. now, i use a copper insert putter, my bro-inlaw uses a rubber insert and he had to get use to the soft on soft contrast, but once he putted a few holes, he had it down. I love these ball, well worth the money, and will improve your game. Read more

I'm a 9 handicap golfer who makes my own clubs and plays balls that are relatively inexpensive, because I know that a bad swing applied to a great ball will still result in a poor shot. However, I purchased my first box of Titleist ProV1 golf balls about a week ago, and now I realize why so many great players use them. I have tried every brand and type of ball over the past year and have experienced little difference in performance overall, except for the new line of Wilson Staff balls which I highly recommend. That said, the ProV1 FAR outperforms ANY ball I have ever played, and I will happily pay double for this caliber of ball from now on. They are long, consistent, and silky soft off the putterface. They seem to spin when they need to, especially around the green where you must stop the ball quickly. Lastly, they are quite durable: I have used the same two balls from one sleeve for the past 2 full rounds, and there is minimal damage and NO 'hair' that a softer ball might produce wh

Absolutely The Best Ball in Golf.

This ball is without a doubt the best ball in golf. You've probably read tons of reviews on how amazing this ball is but it really IS true. Not only does it have the softest outer covering but it also gives that nice solid feel when you make contact with the ball. When you get around the green it truly is amazing to see how much you are able to control the spin of the ball. If I could give this ball a 6 out of 5 stars I would. Overall, greatest ball ever made, period. Read more

Best performance ball on the market

This is arguably the best performance ball out there. It has amazing feel and stopping power on greens. Other high end balls in this price range are good performers too, but most are a bit too firm for me. This is also why I prefer the ProV1 over the ProV1x. This ball is not preferable for those who struggle to keep their drives in the fairway. Like all golf balls with a soft urethane cover, it has a very high spin which will increase any tendency to hook or slice a drive. Excellent for the better player who likes to work the ball though. Read more

I have used many brands of ball and in different variations. The resounding truth is that this is the best ball on the market.

It feels awesome off the club/putter, gets great distance, but best of all, reacts exceptionally well on the green. Even as a relatively high handicapper, I just can't get away from this ball. It is the leading performer. Read more
