I pound them daily when I take them out into the steep creeks. Bikers don't often need these as falls aren't so often. I slam walls and boulders all the time. I would have broken my arm and elbow several times without them. On the first day with my new raptor, after three falls, the left guard fell into the parts its made out of. useless. Now I shopping for a new elbow guards.
